The school basketball court was crowded with pupils during recess. Alan was there playing basketball with his friends. Just as they were enjoying themselves, he tripped as he was rushing for the ball. Alan fell and injured his arm. He cried out in agony as he was in pain.

When his best friend, Tom, informed their teacher that Alan was in pain. Their teacher called for an ambulance. Then minutes later, the ambulance arrived. Alan was sent to the hospital. When the doctor checked his arm, Alan was told that he had broken it. He felt dismayed as he had to stay in the hospital for two weeks.
